Return Policy

Refund or return requests should be filed within 14 days of receiving your order. Should this period elapse, contact Lake Weeds Away at (705) 930-2176 for further guidance on the options available to you. This timeframe also applies to reporting any product defects or issues. It is the responsibility of customers to cover the cost of shipping returned products. We will process your refund after receiving the returned item, subtracting the cost initially spent on shipping.

Returns are accepted only for unused products. Products that have made contact with water, such as fountains and deicers, are generally not eligible for return. Exceptions are made for items with manufacturing defects or errors on our part. Products in opened bottles or buckets cannot be returned.

Please allow between one to four weeks for the completion of the refund process. This period includes up to 10 business days for the item to be returned to our warehouse, up to 5 business days to process the return, and an additional 5 to 10 business days for your bank to handle the refund request.

Cancellation Policy

You have the option to cancel your order within 24 hours of making it or before it has been sent out for delivery. Should the order already be on its way, cancellations are still possible, however, you will be responsible for the shipping charges incurred to return the items to our warehouse.

Shipping Details

Certain products may face shipping constraints depending on their destination. Deliveries to remote areas might use Canada Post or be directed to a local depot for pickup. During the ordering process, you have the opportunity to specify a preferred courier service in the order notes.

We calculate shipping costs and projected delivery times based on the availability of the items and your selected shipping preferences. Our couriers' policy is to round the shipping weights to the nearest whole pound.

After our parcels are dispatched, we have limited ability to manage their journey. In the event a package goes missing, we will endeavor to trace it with the courier and arrange for a replacement if needed. This support is unavailable for items that have been delivered and signed for. If you experience any issues with your shipment, you have 30 days from the shipping date to lodge a refund claim or to request a replacement.
